Transitioning from Traditional Locks

Well, let me tell you that I had a boring spirt earlier this summer and began picking out about five locks in the back. It was to see if I could do it and what shape my hair would be in. So once I talked to my loctician, we agreed that it would be an alternative to cutting them all off, and we began by cutting about 10-12 inches of my traditional locks, then the seven inches that were left, she combed out. It was not a hard process, just time consuming. We both agreed that trying to comb out almost 17 inches of hair would be rediculous. So at the end, I was left with about 7 inches of the most "georgeous" locks I know of (hee-hee), except yours! Thanks for commenting on my blog. I didn't think anyone was reading my blog. Now I am one week away from my first retightening and I can't wait. I have only spritzed it and rolled it up since they were began, and I can't wait to return to Kim to see what other products would be good to use. I am using a soft foam roller, but I think the spritz I'm using is making a build up. Anyone have any other suggestions.
